Thank you for purchasing "The Martial Arts Explorer", the first title of the Martial Arts Collection.
Ñ Installation:
1. Drag the icon Explorer to anywhere on your hard disk.
2. Check for and remove any versions of QuickTime from your system folder that are older than QuickTime 2.0. Open the folder "Put In System" and drag the QuickTime icon and the "Apple Multimedia Tuner" into your System Folder. If you are running System 7, you will be asked if you wish them to be placed in your Extensions folder; the answer is yes.
3. If you installed a new QuickTime, or new "Apple Multimedia Tuner" restart your computer.
4. To begin: double-click the "Explorer" icon you dragged onto your hard drive in step 1.
5. To quit the "Martial Arts Explorer" either open the control panels in the main menu and click the "quit" knob, or press the command and escape keys together, anywhere in the application.
Ñ╩Low Memory
Normally, The Martial Arts Explorer requires 3000K of free memory to run. However, if you have barely enough memory, or not quite enough the program will run on 2500K. You may experience in such a case low performance and other memory related flaws.
If you do try the following methods to free more memory:
1. Quit all open applications, and close open windows.
2. Shut down extensions and control panels. In your System Folder, there are two folders called "Control Panels" and "Extensions" that house many small applications that use up memory. Create a new folder called "NotInUse". Drag any unnecessary extensions or control panels (ex. File Sharing, ATM, etc.) into this folder and then restart your computer. Do not move any items that enable your CD-ROM drive to run and do not move QuickTime. Consult your computer documentation for more information. When you are done with "The Martial Arts Explorer", simply drag the disabled items back into your System Folder and restart your machine.
If your computer is running under system 7.5, use the "Extensions Manager" control panel to switch off unnecessary extensions.
When using a non American System on your computer, please switch to Roman script using the "ScriptSwitcher" control panel.
